Healthcare personnel prevented a person from taking their own life on the Los Cuarteles bridge in the capital of Lanzarote.
The events occurred at around 9:30 p.m. this Saturday, when CECOES received a call alerting them that there was a person hanging from the bridge railing. Local Police officers, an SUC ambulance, and the Emergency Consortium were dispatched to the scene.
In the end, the firefighters did not have to intervene since, upon their arrival, the Local Police informed them that the person was already being attended to by the health services.
