The man accused of stabbing his partner last Monday in the capital district of Argana Alta was imprisoned provisionally on Tuesday afternoon, accused of attempted homicide and repeatedly mistreating his wife.
On this last occasion, the stab that he allegedly inflicted, apparently at the height of the breast, did not endanger her life and in fact she was discharged shortly after entering the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital. However, this would not be the first time that the accused had beaten or even stabbed his partner. According to the residents of the area, it was common to hear shouts and fights in the home, although the truth is that to date there was no complaint of abuse against the accused.
His arrest occurred on the afternoon of last Monday, January 12, when an alert was received that a woman had been injured with a sharp object on Escardillo Street. The National Police proceeded to arrest the victim's partner, who was later brought to justice, ordering his imprisonment pending trial.
