The Civil Guard of the Main Post of San Bartolomé proceeded on August 6 to the indictment of a person, with initials F.J.S.E. and of Spanish nationality, as the alleged perpetrator of a theft in a house in the town of Playa Honda, from where they took various documents, a laptop, 285 euros in cash and 3 professional fishing rods valued at 1,000 euros.
The investigation began on August 2, following the complaint filed in the Benemérita offices by the victim of the theft. As a result of the evidence collected at the scene of the events, together with the statements of the victim of the crime, the investigations of the Civil Guard resulted in the indictment of F.J.S.E. as the alleged perpetrator of the events, this person being known to the victim.
Once in the Civil Guard facilities, F.J.S.E acknowledged the facts before the agents in charge of the investigation, handing over part of the stolen goods.
The proceedings originated by the investigation, as well as the accused and the recovered goods, have been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Arrecife Duty Court.
