The Civil Guard has filed three complaints against businesses and seized 36 laser pointers for not having the label in Spanish and therefore failing to comply with the regulations on the labeling of these products. According to sources from the Benemérita, the pointers have been being withdrawn for some time because they are for professional use.
The inspections were carried out a few weeks ago, when Civil Guard agents went to four establishments in Playa Blanca, where they observed non-compliance in three of them with the Regulation on labeling, presentation and advertising of industrial products intended for direct sale to consumers and users.
Likewise, according to sources from the Benemérita, other legal regulations are added to this, such as Royal Decree 180/2003, on the general safety of products. In addition, they recall that there is an agreement to initiate the procedure to limit the marketing of these laser pointers.
