The Civil Guard is carrying out "all the steps to identify the person" who last Friday was seen doing acrobatics on a rope in Los Hervideros, in El Golfo (Yaiza). Thus, sources from the Civil Guard have assured La Voz that if the man were identified he would be responsible for "two infractions, one to the Citizen Security Law" and another "administrative" one, for having done it "in a protected space".

In the case of the first crime, the Citizen Security Law 4/2015, in its article 37, establishes as an infraction "the climbing of buildings or monuments without authorization when there is a certain risk that damage will be caused to people or property." This is joined, in a second infraction, by the fact of having been carried out in "a protected space". That is why the Civil Guard would "notify the Ministry of the Environment" so that it could carry out the corresponding sanctions, they have stated.

At the moment, according to the sources, they are in the process of identification "based on the images" and other available information. From the institution they have commented that they were notified by the Local Police that "the events were occurring in the Los Hervideros area", but that after moving to the place "we did not detect anything". Likewise, the police officers "did not see anything" when they were there either, they added.
