The president of the Cabildo, Pedro San Ginés, and the Minister of Tourism and the Centers, Echedey Eugenio, wanted to convey this Wednesday their "deepest condolences" for the death of a woman this Tuesday in Timanfaya, after being run over by a bus.
This woman, of Dutch nationality and 68 years old, was visiting the National Park when she was run over by the bus. A medical ambulance went to the area, but unfortunately the medical staff could only certify her death.
A day after this tragic event, both public representatives have transmitted this Wednesday, in their name, "in that of the Corporation" and in that of the staff of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, their "condolences" to the "family, friends and relatives" of the deceased tourist.
