A young man has smashed the windows of several vehicles parked on Pérez Galdós street in Arrecife this Thursday morning.
According to witnesses, the perpetrator was a man between "about 20 and 30 years old, of Moroccan origin", who was "under the influence of alcohol". In fact, they claim that he had previously entered a bar but, given his condition, they had refused to serve him. They also point out that he also unsuccessfully tried to enter the pharmacy located on said road.
After that, always according to the testimony of citizens who witnessed the events, the young man started hitting a trash can, which ended up broken on the ground. Later, and after crossing the street, he hit three vehicles, managing to break the window of two of them. In the third, he left a blood stain on the glass.
A witness to the events then notified the National and Local Police, the latter going to the area, which has started a search for the perpetrator since, when the agents arrived, the perpetrator had already fled the scene
