The two ferry lines that operate between Lanzarote and La Graciosa have had to suspend several trips scheduled for this Tuesday due to the wind and waves affecting both islands.
The maritime company Líneas Romero also had to cancel its routes this past Monday and only one of its boats left at 5:00 p.m. from Órzola to take passengers to Caleta de Sebo.
In the case of Biosfera Express, this Monday suspended two trips this past Monday, while this Tuesday it has operated most of the scheduled trips from La Graciosa to Caleta de Sebo until 10:30 in the morning, having only suspended one of them due to the wind and waves. Looking ahead to the afternoon, the shipping company is waiting to see how the weather forecast progresses.
The strong wind has caused havoc in La Graciosa and has required the intervention of the Firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium in several points of the island due to the passage of the storm Dorothea.
