A man was affected by smoke inhalation and burns to one hand in the fire in his house on Sarapico street in Tías. Local Police, Civil Guard agents, firefighters and an ambulance from the SUC went to the scene.
The fire was extinguished by the Local Police with a powder extinguisher, according to reports from the Emergency Consortium. The health personnel attended to the injured man who was transferred to the Tías health center.
