The National Police of Arrecife arrested a man, with no police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking crime in several parts of Lanzarote. The agents' investigations managed to identify a man allegedly as the main drug dealer in the northern part of the island.
The police operation culminated in one arrest and two searches, carried out in a house and a farm, where 1,700 grams of cocaine and 3 kilograms of hashish were seized.
The National Police became aware that a person was engaged in the distribution of narcotics in several areas of the island. The police investigation managed to confirm the detainee as the main drug dealer in the Haría, Punta Mujeres and Arrieta area. After being identified by the agents, he was immediately arrested.
In addition, once the police proceedings were completed, he was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
