A driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the median of the road from Tías to Arrecife, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The accident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. this Sunday at Kilometer 8, leaving the car in the middle of the road. Agents of the Local Police, Civil Protection, firefighters, and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service have been dispatched to the scene. Paramedics are attending to the driver.
Firefighters were in charge of cleaning the road of pieces of plastic, glass, and a spill, for which they used sepiolite.
Police officers organized traffic and later prepared the corresponding report.
