An accident between two vehicles on the central median of Arrecife resulted in four minor injuries on Sunday morning.
According to CECOES, the incident occurred around 07:38. One of the two vehicles involved in the accident ended up hitting a tree on the avenue.
The healthcare personnel assisted the four injured, a 24-year-old man who suffered cervicalgia and lumbago, a 23-year-old young man and a woman of the same age who each presented mild cervicalgia, and another man, also 24 years old, who had trauma to the face. All of them were transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Local Police were in charge of carrying out the corresponding report.
In addition, later on Sunday afternoon, the firefighters proceeded to remove one of the fallen branches from the tree, cutting it. Once the firefighters finished acting, they notified the Arrecife Local Police so that the municipal Parks and Gardens service could remove the remains of the tree.
