Five people were trapped in an elevator in a building in Arrecife in the early hours of Saturday, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The CECOES received a call at around 00.30 hours alerting that there were several people trapped in an elevator in a building on Manolo Millares street in the capital of Lanzarote.
Firefighters, local police and technical service personnel moved to the scene and managed to restore the elevator and get the people out of it. Once outside, it was found that they were all in good health.
