Five immigrants have been arrested after disembarking this Friday in a zodiac in the area of Don Pancho beach, near Guatiza, in the municipality of Teguise, according to the statement of the residents of the area, who assured that the agents seized small amounts of hashish.
The sources indicated that it is estimated that at least nine people were traveling in the boat and that they saw a vehicle approaching, so it is believed that it could have picked up some of the immigrants, who could be carrying more drugs.
The boat, about five meters long, reached the coast of the town of Guatiza this morning, whose residents alerted the security forces.
