The firefighters of the Security Consortium extinguished this Wednesday a fire in a house on Sotileza Street in Arrecife.
After being alerted by the Cecoes at 7:55 p.m., the firefighters went to the building, as black smoke emanated from one of its windows. Once on the scene, they found that the tenant had left a frying pan on the fire, falling asleep later. The police alerted him, who left the house, which was filled with smoke.
The firefighters proceeded to remove the pan from the fire and then ventilate the house. According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the tenant did not need medical assessment.
