The Emergency Consortium has had to act in extinguishing three fires in less than ten hours in the capital of Lanzarote.
According to CECOES, the first took place on Felipe II street at s 8:00 p.m. this Monday. The owner of the house left a pot on the stove but had disconnected the electric stove. When the firefighters arrived, the house was filled with smoke and they proceeded to ventilate the house.
The second fire occurred half an hour later, at 8:30 p.m., on Agustín Espinosa street. People were inside the house when the fire occurred, which had originated in a construction site and affected a room in the house. The firefighters evicted the occupants of the house and proceeded to put out the fire.
The last fire took place during the early hours of this Tuesday, shortly before 6:00 a.m., on Guágaro street. The Local Police alerted of the fire produced in a premises in Arrecife. Once on the scene, they proceeded to ventilate the site.
