Firefighters extinguished a fire this Monday in an abandoned van in the La Hoya roundabout, in the municipality of Yaiza. Initially, a call alerted of the fire coming from an abandoned house, but upon arriving at the scene they realized that the flames were coming from an abandoned van next to that house.
The firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and verified that there was no one inside. According to reports from the Emergency Consortium, the vehicle was used as a home by a person, but fortunately they were not inside when the fire occurred.
