The firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium had to intervene early this Friday morning on Portugal Street in Arrecife, where a minor "of about five or six years old" was "alone" in a house.
According to the Emergency Consortium, the firefighters were required around 01:30 hours to proceed with the opening of the house, after the minor alerted people who were walking down the street, as he was "scared".
Once there, together with the National Police, they spoke with the minor and, after commenting on his situation, the firefighters proceeded to open the building's portal and access the second floor where the house was located, with the minor himself opening the door for them.
After verifying that the minor "was fine" and that he was only "scared", the firefighters ended the service, leaving the minor in the company of the National Police, who took charge of waiting to locate the parents. The National Police have informed La Voz that an investigation has been opened without giving more information about it.
