Around 09:00 this Wednesday morning, Arrecife firefighters went to extinguish the fire in an abandoned house frequented by homeless people in the Las Cuatro Esquinas area. It had been created in a room of about 35 square meters in which there were quite a few newspapers. The firefighters have gone twice to extinguish this fire, the causes of which are unknown, the second time at about 11:30 in the morning, since one of the tanks has run out.
They point out that as there are many papers, even if they have flooded the surface with foam, the fire may rekindle, without there being any risks, since the house has lost its roof and they are aware of the situation.
