A driver has been injured in a collision between two vehicles in Arrecife, as reported by the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium. The accident occurred at approximately 7:44 a.m. this Sunday at the Cabildo roundabout.
After being alerted by CECOES, agents from the Local Police, an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service, and firefighters were dispatched.
Due to the impact, one of the vehicles overturned laterally, leaving the driver trapped inside. Firefighters stabilized the car, performed a primary assessment, and provided psychological support to the injured woman from inside the vehicle. Subsequently, emergency personnel extricated the woman, who had an open wound on her elbow and a possible fracture. Once outside, she was transferred to the ambulance where she was assisted by paramedics and finally evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital.

The other driver of the other vehicle involved was in perfect health.
The Local Police were in charge of regulating traffic and carried out the corresponding report.
