Firefighters rescued this Thursday a dog that had been trapped in a cave in the Tamia Mountain in the municipality of Tinajo, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. when the dog, identified as "Romeo 2", entered a cave in a rofera and could not get out on its own.
Witnesses at the scene tried to widen the entrance of the cave to free the animal. Finally, the rescue teams managed to get the dog out through another exit of the cave, in the opposite direction to the one it had entered.
The dog was rescued without suffering any damage.
