A diver died this Monday in the Playa Chica area in Puerto del Carmen. CECOES received a call at approximately 4:05 p.m. reporting the discovery of a submerged body in a sea inlet near the dock.
Civil Protection, the underwater group of volunteer firefighters, Emerlan, a SUC medicalized ambulance, the Security Consortium, Civil Guard and Local Police have been dispatched to the scene.
Two divers from the underwater group of volunteer firefighters have recovered the body and taken it to the dock where it has been taken into custody by the Civil Guard until the arrival of the judicial authority.
