National Police agents have arrested M.D.C.S., 28 years old, with no police record, in Arrecife, as the alleged perpetrator of a theft, for stealing tools worth 2,000 euros from inside the house where he was allowed to sleep. The stolen material, which was sold to second-hand shops, has been recovered and returned to its owner.

The investigation began as a result of a complaint filed by a person, reporting that he was missing tools of his property from inside his mother's house, that possibly who had taken them was a friend of his brother who was allowed to stay overnight at the house.

Subsequent police efforts allowed to verify that the stolen tools; a belt sander, an electric brush, two electric hammers, a jigsaw and a drill; were sold in two second-hand shops.

The investigators were able to determine the involvement of the sale of said tools by the person who had stayed overnight at the house from where the effects were stolen, proceeding to his location and arrest, as the alleged perpetrator of a theft.

All of the stolen effects were recovered, valued at 2,000 euros, and returned to their owner. After instructing the corresponding police report, it was sent to the competent Judicial Authority. The police intervention was carried out by agents assigned to the Arrecife Police Station.
