The members of Civil Protection of Yaiza have managed to extinguish a fire that broke out this Wednesday in the storage room of the Southern Town Hall's Mobile Park. Apparently, there were pruning remains of plants and palm trees in that place.
Civil Protection agents noticed smoke coming from this place around 10:30 a.m. Thus, they themselves approached the place where the smoke was coming from and managed to extinguish it without much difficulty, according to reports from the Lanzarote Emergency and Security Consortium.
"It was extinguished immediately, there was no time for it to catch fire," said the manager of the Consortium, Esteban García.
