The facilities of the MIAC- Castillo de San José restaurant will remain closed to the public during the day of this Wednesday, September 15, as a sign of mourning for the heartfelt loss of one of its workers, the young Juan Antonio Benasco.

The Tourist Centers of Lanzarote request citizens and users of this Center in the capital of the island, Arrecife, for their understanding.

The second vice-president and CEO of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Ástrid Pérez, has decreed this closure due to mourning in the large labor family of this tourist center, after the sad loss of this young man who died on Monday night outside the workplace and in circumstances that have caused a heartfelt pain in the entire staff of the centers, its managers and its CEO for the death of this worker in the Kitchen area.

Ástrid Pérez, on behalf of all the staff, managers of the Centers and the Cabildo, conveys her deepest condolences to his family, friends and especially to his young daughter. The wake, according to the family to the Cacts, will be installed from 2:00 p.m. at the Insular Hospital of Lanzarote. The funeral will be at 5:45 p.m. in the chapel of the aforementioned center, and the subsequent burial in the Arrecife cemetery.
