A 49-year-old woman was slightly injured this Tuesday in a collision between a bus and a car on the LZ-2, near the town of Tías. The crash occurred at around 09:00 hours and at that time a call was received at the Cecoes alerting of the accident.
An ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service was sent from 112 and the fire brigade was also notified. Upon arrival, local police and Civil Guard officers were also at the scene. The SUC paramedics assisted the woman, who was suffering from back pain. The medical staff stabilized her and later transferred her to the Molina Orosa hospital. On the bus, which was covering the Arrecife-Femés route, there were only two passengers and the driver.
The firefighters who traveled to the scene were in charge of cleaning the road. For their part, the local police officers have taken charge of the report.
