A 50-year-old woman suffered a dizziness while scuba diving and showed signs of near drowning of a less serious nature.
At approximately 11:28 a.m. this Sunday, the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands receivedan alert reporting that a woman who was scuba diving at Playa Chica in Puerto del Carmenr had suffered a dizziness when she was about 25 meters deep and they had taken her out of the water.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.The SUC personnel transferred to the site assessed and assisted the affected woman, who was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Civil Guard has instructed the corresponding proceedings.
