A flight that had departed this Sunday from Tenerife North to Alicante has been diverted to the airport of Lanzarote due to medical problems of a young child who was traveling on board, according to sources from air traffic controllers.
The child has been treated on board by medical personnel and at the Lanzarote aerodrome, the descent and approach maneuver of the plane has been facilitated, in addition to coordinating medical care on the ground.
In their social networks, the air traffic controllers have also reported that upon arrival in Lanzarote, the highest priority has been given to the landing of this flight, as the child arrived unconscious, with breathing problems and low blood pressure.
