A person has died this Wednesday morning after falling with their vehicle off the Risco de Famara. This has been confirmed to La Voz by the Security and Emergency Consortium.
The island's firefighters received a notice this morning to go down to the vehicle, which was located in the area of stones under the cliff, where the car had fallen.
After that, they noticed the presence of a body that had fallen out of the vehicle during the impact. The body has been transferred to the Forensic Anatomical Institute, where the autopsy will be performed. Meanwhile, the Civil Guard will be in charge of notifying the family of the death.
So far, the age of the deceased person has not been revealed.
