A new boat has been intercepted by Maritime Rescue near the coasts of Lanzarote. It was at approximately 02:30 this Sunday, about thirty minutes from Órzola.

There were 38 immigrants on board, including six women and three minors.

They have been transferred to the Commercial dock of the capital of Lanzarote where they have been attended by the Red Cross. One of the women had to be transferred to Molina Orosa.

This is the fourth irregular boat that arrives on the island of Lanzarote during the weekend after three boats with about 78 people arrived on their own means this Saturday.
