The Civil Guard has arrested a young minor for the theft of two high-end bicycles in Puerto Calero, valued at 12,000 euros. The complaint was filed on December 13 at the Main Post of Tías, after the bicycles were stolen from inside a van that was parked in this urbanization.

One of them was even offered for sale to a local excursion company, which made it possible to find the phone number of the alleged seller. The Civil Guard was thus able to locate a person related to this telephone, although by then she herself had contacted the victim of the theft. According to the police force, she called the complainant to return one of the bicycles, explaining that her son had taken it home initially claiming it was a gift.

This allowed one of the bicycles to be recovered and later, after proceeding with the arrest of the minor, he himself provided the whereabouts of the other, which was also recovered.

The police report was sent to the Prosecutor's Office for Minors of Las Palmas, with the minor remaining at the disposal of the court and under the guardianship of his mother.
