Members of the Investigation Group of the Civil Guard, attached to the main post of Tías, arrested a man in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday, who was caught making an alleged drug sale. The arrested man, of Spanish nationality, responds to the initials D.P.B.
The arrest occurred in the vicinity of the parking lots in the Varadero area of Puerto del Carmen. The agents surprised this man when he was making an alleged drug sale. Thus, the arrested man was intervened at the moment in which he was carrying out "the pass of a cocaine wrap".
According to the Civil Guard in a statement, the detainee "was found in possession of three wraps of cocaine and a total of 300 euros, divided into various bills." The Civil Guard had the collaboration of the Local Police of Tías in this anti-drug operation.
In addition, after the instruction of the appropriate procedures, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
