Firefighters extinguished a fire in a beach bar in Costa Teguise early this Sunday morning. The fire occurred at approximately 05.57 hours on Las Olas street on Las Cucharas beach.
Once alerted by the CECOES, the Emergency Consortium, Local Police and the Civil Guard went to the scene.
According to the Consortium, the fire was fully developed, affecting the entire interior of the premises and the roof, which was almost completely on fire. Firefighters had to set up two attack lines to control the fire and once extinguished, they cooled it down.
The Civil Guard has taken over the investigation.
