A boat with 31 people has been located this Friday night near Jameos del Agua. Eight women were traveling in the inflatable boat. Four of them, three men and one woman, have declared themselves to be minors. It was a boat, the Mar Azul, which was in the area, that alerted Emergencies.
Once located, it was towed by Salvamar to Puerto Naos, where it arrived at around 10:00 p.m.
The migrants have been attended to on the dock by Red Cross volunteers and are in good condition. All of them will be tested to detect if they have coronavirus. They have been transferred to the Aula de la Naturaleza de Máguez.
