A 45-year-old man has been seriously injured after being hit by a car on the LZ-20 in the municipality of Teguise. The accident took place at approximately 12:31 p.m. this Saturday. At that time, CECOES received an alert reporting a woman being hit, although it was ultimately confirmed to be a man.
Local Police, Civil Guard agents, and a medical ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service were dispatched to the scene. Once there, the healthcare personnel provided initial assistance to the affected individual, who presented with multiple injuries. After stabilizing him, he was transferred to Molina Orosa Hospital.
The police services have taken charge of the corresponding proceedings.
