A 25-year-old woman has been slightly injured after her vehicle collided with another car on León y Castillo street, in Arrecife. The accident took place at approximately 12.45 pm. The driver of the other vehicle did not suffer any injuries and, being a doctor, was also able to help the affected woman, who was very nervous.

Healthcare personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) arrived at the scene with a basic life support ambulance and a medicalised ambulance. Agents from the Arrecife Local Police and firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium were also required, although their assistance was not ultimately needed.

The woman presented with multiple contusions but of a mild nature, although she has been transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital for an evaluation, according to the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands.
