National Police agents have arrested in the municipality of Arrecife a 15-year-old young man of Moroccan nationality, with numerous police records, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force. According to the Police, the arrested person accessed a house through the window, where he stole a safe with jewelry. The same young man had already been arrested three days before for another robbery at his neighbors' house.
The new event was reported by several witnesses, who called the telephone 091 after observing how a young man was leaving a house in the municipality of Arrecife through the window. The owner of the property was alerted by her neighbors, and after checking the interior, she verified that the safe where she kept the jewelry had been stolen.
The police investigation allowed to identify the alleged perpetrator of the events, who was located at his father's home. Afterwards, the young man was arrested and transferred to police headquarters. The safe was located by police officers in an open field in the capital of Lanzarote, "open and still with some jewelry inside."
"The same young man had already been arrested a few days before after being surprised by the residents of a house in Arrecife, when he was trying to flee the place with a video game console in his hands," recalls the Police.
The new facts were brought to the attention of the Minors Section of the Provincial Prosecutor's Office and the police report sent to the competent Judicial Authority. The police investigation was carried out by agents of the Arrecife Police Station.
