The 'Coral Encounter' inspired by the patron saint celebrations of Remedios has just completed "two decades of trajectory", no less than "twenty years" delighting the public with true gems of the popular Canarian, national and international songbook" in a stage of excellent acoustics such as the church of Yaiza, where "hundreds of Lanzarote voices, women and men, have passed through, offering the best of their exquisite and varied repertoire September after September."
The 'Vulcania Polyphonic Choir', directed by Cielo Guzmán, the Arrecife Choir, directed by Hernán Lorenzo and the Yaiza Vocal Group, directed by Nuvi Tavío, adorned this year the "unmissable cultural event" of the Remedios festivities. Óscar Noda praises the "artistic work of the Yaiza Vocal Group" directed by Nuvi Tavío, "soul of our meeting, and of all the groups participating in these first two decades of trajectory”.
A total of "fifty-five voices transmitted joy and emotions" on September 3. The public returned to "enjoy the choral genre, the strength of the voice almost without instrumental accompaniment, only the Arrecife Choir was accompanied by the sublime notes of a piano."
The Yaiza Vocal Group is consolidated as a "great exponent of the art of vocal interpretation" harmonized by the "talent and dedication" of its current components and of all the women and men who have sheltered its "25-year journey."
