The young singer from Lanzarote, Verónica Lucía, will present her first album 'Con Cadencias' this Saturday, September 11, at 7:00 p.m., at the Municipal Theater of Tías.
Verónica Lucía began taking singing lessons at the age of 10 and is currently studying 1st year of Art Baccalaureate and taking piano lessons. From a very early age, this young woman showed skills for composition that she wanted to capture on this album.
Despite being only 17 years old, her powerful and magnificent voice will transport you in this first work through different musical genres, demonstrating her versatility as a singer. "Con Cadencias" includes 7 unpublished songs composed by the singer herself and by her father, the percussionist musician Carlos Almaguer. 'Pregón a Canarias', a bolero that pays tribute to the beauty of her land and the good people of the Islands; 'A Ella', a ballad-pop dedicated to her mother; and 'Luna Llena', a Cuban lament-chachachá, which is an ode to longing and a call to hope and reflection towards the people of Cuba, her father's homeland, are some of the themes.

Admission to the presentation is free until full capacity is reached and you can make your reservations at http://www.ecoentradas.com.
