After almost seven years performing at Noches de Jameos, the timple players Alexis Lemes and José Vicente Pérez, who alternated their performances every Saturday accompanied by the musicians Adrián (guitar), Carlos Almaguer (percussion) and Ayoze Rodríguez (clarinet), stopped performing last Saturday, January 2, on a unique stage in the world such as the Jameos del Agua.

For the timple players, these seven years have been a "very positive" experience, in which they have had the opportunity to offer their timple concerts as a solo instrument to the thousands of visitors from all over the world, who in each of their performances not only supported them with their applause, but were also interested in learning about the characteristics of the instrument.

As a result of these concert nights, Alexis Lemes and José Vicente Pérez recorded live, in the same setting of the Jameos del Agua, their first album entitled 'Sonidos del Agua', an experience that has been very well received by fans of this musical genre.

The farewell that took place on Saturday night was attended by the timple player José Vicente Pérez, who was accompanied by the usual trio of musicians at Noches de Jameos. The concert began with the composition 'Over the Rainbow' continuing with 'Libertango', 'Angels' and 'Hey Jude' among others, to end with 'Ventolera', thus putting an end to a stage that, according to the protagonists, Alexis Lemes and José Vicente Pérez, has been "very positive".
