The students from different schools in Arrecife have starred this Thursday in their own Carnival, with the celebration of different parades. The earliest risers were the boys and girls from CEIP Capellanía del Yágabo and La Destila, who have paraded with all their enthusiasm.
The children have taken to the streets with fun costumes, contagious batucada rhythms and fashionable songs that invited everyone who applauded them to dance as they passed. The route of these cheerful parades, where schools show off their creativity, is every year a real party in motion, filling every corner of the city with life and joy.
The mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, the Councilor for Festivities, Echedey Eugenio, and the Councilor for Education, Abigail González, have not hesitated to join the fun and encourage the schoolchildren.
In the coming days, the following centers will also celebrate their school parade:
- CEIP Argana Alta: February 9 at 9:00 a.m.
- CEIP Adolfo Topham: February 15 at 9:00 a.m.
- CEIP Nieves Toledo: February 15 at 11:00 a.m.
- CEIP Antonio Zerolo: February 16 at 9:00 a.m.
- CEO Argana: February 16 at 10:30 a.m.
- CEIP Benito Méndez Tarajano: February 16 at 12:00 p.m.
