The Cabildo of Lanzarote presents the Concert for Mother's Day that will be held at the Farmer's Monument next Friday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m.
The Councilor for Seniors and Intergenerational Relations, Nori Machín, declares that "this concert becomes a special occasion to celebrate and honor the fundamental role that mothers play in our lives." Likewise, Machín informs that "the sale of tickets has been a success, since they sold out as soon as they came out."
To achieve this goal, it has been decided to select a singer like Gerson Galvan accompanied by his pianist Rayko León. With the aim of offering an event that provides a space where homage is paid to the figure of the mother in all its variants, integrating into the concert through music and the images that are going to be projected.
In addition, with this activity we promote intergenerational relationships by offering the reservation of tickets to seniors accompanied by their families to enjoy the same space, the same activity and at the same time.
On the other hand, during the song Es mi madre, photographs of the attending mothers will be projected on a screen located on the stage. Those who are interested have until this Monday to send the photos with their mothers. At the end of the concert, the public will be invited to attend a small farewell cocktail.
