'Colourful Island' is the title of the new work by photographer Gustavo Medina, a timelapse for which he has used more than 30,000 photographs that he took in Lanzarote for three months, in which he states that he possibly traveled "more than 3,000 kilometers around the island looking for light frames and ideal landscapes".

'The Colourful Island' shows a very different image to the one we are used to. And it is that, in this new project by Gustavo Medina, the images of the "early" spring that the island experienced in the months of January and February are collected, with landscapes covered by flowers and a green mantle.

"This timelapse is a sample of the beauty of the island temporarily dressed in a mantle of color that completely covers the landscapes of the island for a few months," says its author, who has published his new work on social networks.
