The 'Harionetas' Puppet Theater Festival Returns to Haría

The Haría City Council celebrates the third edition of the 'Harionetas' Puppet Theater Festival. This project organized by the City Council, in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Canary Islands Institute for Cultural Development of the Government of the Canary Islands, will bring various educational and leisure activities to the forefront from October 17 to 23, with puppets as the main protagonists.

The mayoress and councilor for Culture of the Haría City Council, Evelia García, announced together with the island councilor for Culture, Alberto Aguiar, the program of this event that "will seek for another year to bring the performing arts closer to the little ones and entangle them between threads and culture."

The mayoress expressed her satisfaction "for hosting once again this initiative that is so magical and attractive for the little ones and their families" and invited citizens to enjoy the multiple performances that will take place in the municipality.

The program will begin on October 17, in the classrooms of the Haría schools, with puppet creation workshops, which will last for three days. From October 20, the performances and theatrical performances will begin in the 'La Tegala' Theater Hall, ending the events on Sunday, October 23.
