After many months of work and with uncertainty in the face of the threat of Covid 19, they were finally able to make their dream come true and offer all lovers of traditional music and dances of the Canary Islands their show. The public filled the allowed capacity, thus supporting the participating groups with expressions of affection in the form of applause.
For this XI edition, Guagime had the participation of the "Parranda del Proyecto Comunitario de La Aldea de San Nicolás" from Gran Canaria. A cultural group with a very important project to maintain musical styles and ways of interpreting them with complete naturalness from their beginnings. Taking to the stage those songs and dances also called salon songs and dances, together with the traditional ones such as folías, isas or malagueñas. The Parranda La Aldea de San Nicolás de Gran Canaria representation surprised everyone present with their songs and dances that were highly applauded by the public.
The second part of the festival was reserved for the hosts and organizers, the Guagime family who, after all the effort, were able to go on stage to offer their followers the best they know how to do. And as always taking care of the smallest detail of each of the verses and dances that they had selected for such a special occasion for them. Guagime has a staff of very young people, others with much more seniority and also recently incorporated. All under the direction of Fefo Pérez give everything so that our traditional songs and dances do not fall into oblivion. Guagime performed Folías, Santo Domingo Gomero, Isa, Siote Palmero etc.
