The members of the Guagime Folk Group came down from Tahíche to the Port of Arrecife to participate in the "Navidad Isleña" program. At 11 o'clock on Saturday morning they began with the parade from Las Cuatro Esquinas and very animated they were singing carols, mostly with Canarian roots, throughout the Royal Street, touring the most strategic points of the downtown area of Arrecife where they made stops to sing and dance traditional dances such as folías, seguidillas and isas before the watchful eye of tourists and residents who did not stop photographing and applauding them.

Guagime for his performance in the "Navidad Isleña", wore the traditional clothing of Lanzarote corresponding to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and that powerfully draws attention for its completely handmade confection in the looms with bright and cheerful colors. Throughout the tour the most curious approached the components to photograph and inquire how the costumes had been made.

The members of the Guagime Folk Group were very excited to participate again in the Christmas Island after the break caused by Covid 19.. Leaving for a few hours the place of rehearsal and show the public all their work with traditional songs and dances where they also include in their repertoire dances from other islands of the Canary archipelago. After the performance, the musical director Fefo Pérez valued very positively the participation that at all times was supported by the public that in each intervention rewarded them with their applause.
