Teguise started the new year with music. Last Sunday the concert "IL Divo Tribute" took place in the Santo Domingo Convent by the Ópera a Tres trio.
Ancor Vélez, José Martín and Antonio González dedicated the concert to the recently deceased Carlos Marín. They started the act with one of Italy's most famous songs, "O sole mio", by composer Giovanni Capurro, and continued with other songs such as Regresa a mí, A mi manera and opera classics such as Funiculí Funiculá or Brindisi from La Traviata.
This musical formation created in 2016 performs in each of its concerts a fusion of pop music and opera of great popular successes interpreted in the purest style of the classical genre. Ancor, José and Antonio, with an impeccable staging, conquered the public, getting them to participate in the choruses of some of the songs they performed during the night, such as Bésame Mucho, Delilah and Hallelujah. During the 70 minutes that the concert lasted, the public enjoyed until the last minute with the song "Granada", where they fully participated, putting the finishing touch to the concert.
The councilor Nory Machín, excited with the artistic quality of the performers, went on stage to congratulate them and take pictures with them.
