The rock atmosphere flooded El Pavón square from sunset until late Saturday night. Five hours of music managed to make the audience vibrate at the new edition of Toño Rock, a classic that returned alone to the municipality. And it is that, until now, this festival was programmed within the San Antonio Festivities and hence its name, but since this 2018 it has a solo role.

Four musical groups participated in the twelfth edition of the "most hardcore festival in Lanzarote". The musical performances started at 8:30 p.m. with the groups Íntima, Opereta Humanoide, Ska Toons and Mamá Ladilla.
Toño Rock, organized by the Guayota Association with the support of the Tías City Council, was also accompanied this year by several parallel sessions in the surroundings of the square, where the members of the Youth Nursery developed recycling activities and environmental actions, as well as painting murals with well-known graffiti artists from the Canary Islands.

In this way, during Saturday morning and afternoon, several murals created with the collaborations of Matías 'Sabotaje al montaje', Ibone Pérez de 'Ars Magna', Aquilino Rodríguez Santana and Yudi and Jakobo Cáceres were completed in the surroundings of the square. Before the concerts, Kami Selektah livened up the urban and artistic atmosphere that was breathed in El Pavón, a point of reference for the teenagers of Tías.

The Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Culture, Amado Jesús Vizcaíno, has thanked "the close collaboration that the Guayota cultural group has provided so that this activity continues to be held in the municipality, where young people have an annual meeting with rock music."
