The Jameos del Agua Auditorium hosted yesterday, Wednesday the 21st, the presentation of "Palabras Mayores", the new audiovisual material from the Tourist Centers, a compilation of stories, anecdotes and experiences of some of the people who accompanied César Manrique in the process of creating the Centers.
"Palabras Mayores" consists of nine videos that reveal each of these spaces, by the hand of people linked to the entity such as the workers Marcial Martín, José Manuel Onieva, Jesús Fontes, Ildefonso Aguilar, Gregorio de León, Federico Padrón, Esteban Armas, Antonio Ramos and Ana Pérez.
This project is based on an idea presented by three students from the San Patricio school in Madrid to the 'Audi Creativity Challenge', a technological innovation contest organized by this automobile firm, the prize consisting of a three-week trip to Lanzarote to develop a project that explores the work of César Manrique through workers and former collaborators of the author.
