CIC El Almacén will host the Letras Aisladas project between January 23 and 27. Throughout these days, different cultural agents will meet with the "objective of addressing and discussing the processes of literary creation, generating other actions and synergies linked to writing such as plastic creation, poetic training or editing", they point out from the Cabildo of Lanzarote.

The program consists of talks, round tables, conversations, book presentations and literary workshops. The Culture Councilor of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Alberto Aguiar, invites the population to participate "in this attractive meeting with the genre of letters, not only from the point of view of literary creation, but will also address many of the aspects that surround it, from editing to the discovery of literature made by Lanzarote authors".

Precisely, the activity that starts the meeting is the workshop 'The traveling collage that writes verses', taught by Guacimara Hernández, A creative and immersive experience that, through an approach to the collage technique, "seeks to explore and experiment with the creation of artistic pieces inspired by the cultural imagery of images, descriptions and personal emotions associated with a selection of literary texts", they point out from the Cabildo.

The other workshop proposed in Letras Aisladas is 'Creating honesty: introduction to poetic creation', taught by Rafael Hernández. "This is a proposal that addresses literary creation from universality. To do this, it will attack poetic writing from the point of view of individual truth to introduce us to the formation of real and honest compositions", explains the Cabildo.

Registration is now open for both workshops and can be formalized on the page of the Culture area of the Cabildo de Lanzarote. For the rest of the activities, admission is free.
